Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, arrived in the Republic of Singapore on the afternoon of June 10.
Foreign Minister of Singapore Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister of Education Ong Ye Kung, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Chee Wee Kiong, and Director-general of the Northeast Asia Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Eric Teo were present at Changi International Airport to greet Kim Jong Un, the respected Supreme Leader of the party, state and army of the DPRK.
The Chinese plane carrying him arrived at the airport at 3:00 p.m. local time.
He got off the plane, exchanged warm greetings with the Singaporean government senior officials who came to greet him, and headed for St. Regis Hotel, his lodging quarters. -0-
